see finance GmbH was founded in 2008 – a team of experienced specialists with decades of experience in areas surety insurance (guaranties), credit insurance, fidelity insurance and project insurance (projects / capital goods) including alternative financing (e.g. non-recourse financing and forfaiting).
With the founding of see finance Schweiz AG in Zurich in 2014, we have created the conditions to also support Swiss companies as well. see finance Schweiz AG develops solutions for project and forfait financing under ECA cover as well as leasing transactions for its clients in cooperation with AIL Structured Finance Ltd (www.ailsf.ch).
With the acquisition of fuchs-fm GmbH, a specialist broker that has also been established in the industry for decades, we further expanded our expertise and our range of products and services in 2014.
As part of an expanded strategic focus, we have transferred our financing and consulting activities to see finance Consulting GmbH, which was founded in 2016 and bundles our extensive factoring activities.
In 2021, we joined GGW GROUP GmbH, one of the fastest growing broker and underwriting groups, which is now one of the largest in the “DACH” region. We have thus further expanded our network, our expertise, our market position and our portfolio for our clients.
The GGW GROUP umbrella brand LEADING BROKERS UNITED already unites more than 60 brokerage companies from a wide range of specialist areas.
As part of the further joint development of our network, we would like to present a uniform face to our customers and partners with this successful young brand. We therefore changed the name of see finance GmbH to LEADING BROKERS UNITED – Credit & Finance GmbH in 2023.
LEADING BROKERS UNITED – Credit & Finance GmbH and its group companies are the leading specialist brokers in the GGW Group for credit and surety insurance as well as factoring and financing issues, among other things, while remaining autonomous and independent and at the same time benefiting from the Group’s extensive experience and stability.

In October 2025, LEADING BROKERS UNITED – Credit & Finance GmbH acquired the shares of DBS Bürgschafts- und Finanzierungsservice GmbH in Hamburg. Founded in 2005 by Sascha Roloff, the company operates in Hamburg, Berlin, and Leipzig and, in addition to its core competence in deposits/guarantees, also has decades of expertise in the credit and property insurance business. With the integration of DBS, we have taken the next step toward broadening our Credit & Finance Group within LEADING BROKERS UNITED in terms of personnel, content, and region, and further improving the range of products and services we offer our clients.
